Official Contact Routes

This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot verify custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the public office that holds the record for those requests.

Coos County Record Contacts

For a current county-custody question, start with the Coos County Jail’s Booking Division. For a record, report, or photo-release determination, use the Sheriff’s records channel. The two offices have different roles and locations.

Choose the Right Office

These are official paths for different questions. A roster result, a police call log, and a court file answer different things.

  • For current county custody, use the live roster and Booking Division path.
  • For a Coos Bay police incident, use the city’s police-record request route and its daily press log for an event lead.
  • For North Bend or Coquille city records, contact the respective Police Department’s records route, then use the county channel if a county booking record is needed.
  • For a scheduled court event or later disposition, use Coos County Circuit Court and Oregon Judicial Department services.
  • For Oregon state custody or a release-transfer notification, use VISOR. It is separate from the Coos County Jail roster.
  • For federal or immigration detention, use the official BOP or ICE locator rather than a county resource.
